Classifying texturized glass as a technique on its own is perhaps a little bit presumptious on our part, but we believe that in the very near future we will be able to offer our customers relief texturing on sheet glass surfaces. Therefore, we wanted to highlight it among our services, although in reality texturing is casting in an open mold.

To achieve these open molds, Tot Vidre Gibernau recently purchased a CNC plotter in orderto make molds as big as 200 x 100 cm and is currently investigating the best way to offer this service to architects and designers to enable them to transfer their designs onto glass in a new way.

Texturized glass allows, amongst other things, the making of labels including letters, logos, trophies, etc. in bas and high relief on glass surface. It can also be used to make decorative glass designs for windows or shower doors for example.
